Michael Sfard Law Office was established in 2004 and has since represented human rights, peace, protest, environmental and animal rights organizations, Israeli and Palestinian activists, disempowered communities, and many private clients.
We use the law to fight the occupation, racism, apartheid, fascism, misogyny, xenophobia, and anti-LGBTQ hate.
We have served and continue to serve as counsel in hundreds of cases, working to protect Palestinian communities in the OPT, Bedouin communities in the Negev Desert and activists who found themselves under legal attack for their work to advance human rights, democracy and equality.
We wake up every morning ready to fight evil and represent those who seek to do good.
We believe things can get better, but we know we must fight to make it happen.
Almost every good thing a human rights lawyer has ever done, is the undoing of a bad thing other lawyers have done before.
We are not a legal sword for hire. We are legal activists, part of the movements for social change that we represent.
Our goal is to make use of the law, which many have turned into an injurious sword, as a protective shield for the underprivileged and the oppressed
